For anyone who wants to use a foaming cleanser that doesn’t dry out your skin, it’s designed for skin with acne but is also anti-ageing, is the La Roche Posay Effaclar foaming cleanser. I swear by their Effaclar line as it’s the only acne treating line that doesn’t irritate or dry my sensitive skin, and it’s the only thing that has cleared my acne after suffering with it for 20 years.

I’ve been thinking of getting one of the Foreo cleansers. Have you seen the UFO they’re releasing? You can pre order it on Kickstarter now for a lot cheaper than it will be when released!

I can’t NOT wash my face in the shower. I like to let the water run super hot before I get in, and then once it’s steamy, I’ll lower the temperature and get in to clean my face, hair, etc.
I definitely wanna stop ONLY using makeup wipes at night though, I’m super lazy about that.

I agree with you about washing your face in the shower. But it’s also bad for your hair to use super hot water so I take pretty cool showers to avoid that.

I'm guilty… I use the St.Ives Apricot Scrub almost every day in the shower. :/ It feels so good to exfoliate but I'm probably being too harsh on my skin.

I over exfoliated 15 years ago and I think it aged me.

Acids have been a game changer! My skin around my nose almost never needs physical exfoliating now-maybe once every 2-3 months.

Girl I am so with you on the spf. I watch some people's skincare routines and collections here on yt and when they don't include ANY type of suncreen…yet have hundreds of dollars worth of fancy ingredients (great ingredients, don't get me wrong) that actually make your skin even more sun sensitive and cause aging even faster….🤔🤔🤔 I worked at a dermatologist the last 6 years assisting in removing skin cancer and it ain't cute. 1 thing I need to work on this year is actually reapplying my sunscreen throughout the day! I'm in FL. Enough said, really. Thank goodness for all the setting spray+SPF combos coming onto the market! (Except the Kate Somerville one, not a fan of that one)

It's funny because I've been watching you for years and listening to you say "don't use foaming cleansers!" and finally today I switched over to a hydrating milky cleanser lol

I stopped using makeup remover wipes and used micellar water with a cotton pd but it ended up pulling some of my eyelashes out! I found the clinique cleansing balm works best. It’s really effective and very gentle on the skin

I would appreciate any recommendations for a sunscreen to apply on top of my makeup throughout the day. I do start my day with a sunscreen in my a.m. routine. I want add sunscreen without messing up my makeup. Thank you!

In regards to the first one, what do you suggest for someone with a sensitivity to washing near their eyes? Like I’ve tried cleansers but washing them off freaks me out for some reason(it’s weird, I know)

I love all the tips! However, all cleansers strip the skin in some way and knock your PH balance off. Toners are used to make sure all the makeup is off and to bring the PH balance back into the skin.

I work in cosmetics and skincare going on 6 years and I have had training with brands like Clarisonic, Michael Todd, Philosophy, Exuviance, Dermalogica, Origins and others. Chemical peels are great exfoliating products. However some brands do recommend exfoliating everyday with others don't. Just depend on the person. But the cleansing brushes are heaven sent!!! the don't pull or tug on the skin if used right and they clean your skin 6 times better than your hands.

Yes! All this I stopped last year, also for my body I switched to bar soaps and just gentle is better motto amd my skin has never been happier. Cooler water, witchhazel, and a good moisturizer I found is all I need and it cosmetics makeup remover. Its been awesome.
