Hi Cody, I love all of your videos and have watched almost every one since I subscribed. Thank you for your passion, honesty and generosity. I'm very new to using Retin A(once a week at the moment) and definitely need some time to adjust. Can you use use Retin A with any glycolic or aha peel to help with the flaking and dryness(on the off days)?

Hi Cody, I love all your videos… Thank you for all your knowledge help. I have a question.
It says in many articles and such, that it is not good to mix RatinA and glycolic, or any other acids for peeling, at the same time. I see in this video that you're using an acid cleanser to clean your face. Is that correct or what do you think? When Is it ok to do it?

Hi Cody, thank you so much for the videos. They have been so helpful. I feel like you understand and I can watch your videos for help.

I have a question. I live in Nigeria and I started using RetinA just over 2 months ago. However I have noticed that the left side of my face peels less than the right side. It also looks brighter and is improving faster than the right.

The right seems gets irritated, dry and peels quickly. The skin does shed quickly than the left side.
I also noticed the right side is taking a longer time to get brighter and softer Also, the dark areas aren’t lightening up as much as the left side.

Please help! How do I gets that balance and see the results on both sides.. Do I need to change the application for both sides.?

    P.S.
I have black skin. Although am not dark in complexion. Just medium tone complexion.

Thanks in anticipation of your response.

I'm so happy to know you do this too.
I do it every couple of months. It is great to kick start collagen!
I do this two nights in a row tho. Lol. I also steam my face before and during the peeling.
It helps the little "eraser shavings" of skin come off without me rubbing and I really think it helps that process of making collagen ,
as when I don't steam it doesn't seem to work as good.
After I am one day over peeling, I do a "soak" of hydrocodone. I use 4% since have been doing it for years.
Then the next day or night I do a mask of Nadinola extra strength 3% as it seems to rehydrate and leave my skin spongey.
The only difference of what you do is vitamin c in the retin , which I will try my next treatment
Which I plan to do mid January after the holidays and parties ,cuz then it's okay to be a little bit ugly.
Please film your results afterwards next time as I am super curious what yours looks like.

Hi Cody since i watch your videos about retin a, i really wants to try it. Then i already try it. 😁 but i use .025 first bc this is my first time. I used it and didn't get any irritation, yes i got dry little bit but still my t-zone still get oil and my skin got flacky and peel. What i want to ask is, what should i do next in step skincare in the morning when i get peel? Should i use exfoliating scrub to get rit of the peel? Or i could just leave it like that and using moisturizer and spf on top of it? Bc when i wash my face the peel come through so i rub it with my finger. But it still there little bit. I already used it in three days a row.

Hi Codi😁 I thank you for another fabulous informative video 😉 I've taken your advice using more than a pea size amount of Retin A from a prior video and I have been thrilled with the results…I simply wasn't using enough for my skin type! Also, the rubbing in of the product has really made a huge difference 😁. I do use Retin A on my eye lids and tolerate it very well..but, that's just me and hands down it is "the" Holy Grail for firming and lifting the eye area! Question though…. I heard you say there is Vitamin C in your Retinoid product… I've tried that combination and loved the results! But, had heard it weakened the Retin A. What say you? Thanks 😍Lisa B.

Hi Cody! After watching so many of your videos, I am really excited about getting this face together. I wish I was in SD and a client of yours! I also just signed up for your email catalog that is in the show more section.

I have been using retinol/retinoids for about 2 years. Since I had skin cancer 2 years ago, thank God they caught it in time and were able to remove it all, my Dr. wanted me to get Retin A. I couldn't afford it at the time but my pharmacist was such an angel, she gave me this incredible discount because she knew about the cancer and knew I needed to get it. Ok, sorry for the long story.

I started at the lowest percentage and after about 2 months, I knew it was doing nothing for me so I went up to the .5%. I am now using that once a week. Again, I feel no tightness and definitely no peeling. Should I be more aggressive with it and start using it twice a week and/or on the days that I am not using it what else can I do/use to help shed this old layer off? (I am trying to understand all the acids – AHA/Glycolic, etc.). I can't wait for your honest feedback on The Ordinary because they are very inexpensive….as my Dr. bills from the 2 surgeries are piling up. What ever you could recommend would be much appreciated! Maureen in NY. Thank you love! 🙂
