Will you try to mix this with a foundation that is too dark for you to see if it lightens? I see it more being used to darken or lighten foundation.

I love Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation but decided to try the BIY drops. I agree with Shelby about the coverage. This product is definitely not full coverage. It did have a nice feel and acted more like a tinted moisturizer. If you only need light to medium coverage you may love this but for me it serves no real purpose.

Very informative! I am currently using the Beyond perfecting foundation. I like it but, I'm not in love with it. Sometimes I feel like it dries me out more than normal. Have you tried Tarte Rainforest of the Sea foundation or Too faced born this way? Just wondering about your thoughts on those. Love your channel, it def resonates with me! πŸ™‚

I love both of the looks in this video! I would love to see your first natural look and more no makeup, makeup looks πŸ™‚ Also I've never had any luck with stick foundation. I really love the Cover Girl aqua smoother foundation in the compact, its great for my dry skin. πŸ™‚ <3

Shelbey!! I think I found a great product for my forehead lines too.. which I hate as well 😟 Have you ever tried the Lancome visionarie 1 min blur primer ?? I've been using it for a week now & I'm in love 😍 I'm def going to splurge on the product cause I think it's great! I also have super dry skin!!

Hi Shelby, thanks for the helpful info on this new product. I've been watching your videos for a few years now, and enjoy your personality and your "take" on things. I agree, forehead lines are tough. If I may suggest, even though it sounds counter-intuitive, if you will set your forehead lines with a damp beauty sponge dipped in translucent powder (I use RCMA) you may find, as I have, that the lines stay at bay. Just like under eye creases, you need to make sure the foundation is smooth, so don't raise your eyebrows! At least until after you get the powder on them! I pack the powder on, like you're going to bake them, and let it sit only as long as it takes to apply powder to the other trouble areas (nostrils, smile lines, under eyes, etc.), then I take my big fluffy brush and pounce the powder all over the face. This has made all the difference in the world in how my foundation stays on and how it doesn't settle into the lines. I have normal/dry skin too, so I think this may work for you. Give it a try! Keep up the good work. Lynn

I'm a Clinique counter manager and I completely agree with your thoughts. They look beautiful on people with normal/dry skin who just want that little bit of coverage, but they aren't going to be a full coverage foundation. I stick with my super balanced silk <3

Hi Shelbey! How many drops of the foundation did you end up using the second time when you mixed it with the Becca primer? Just curious if it still took the same amount of drops as first time to get the coverage. Thank you! 😊

Do you feel the cover fx ones are too waxy?? Was it you that said that? Ps have you tried the teinte idole ultra liquid? Is it as not full cocerage as the double wear? Im considering the idole ultra over double wear for hot summer days… sorry so many questions!!

Can you do a review on the Beyond Perfecting foundation? You and I very have similar skin types, I also have uneven skin tone and some discoloration/scaring from acne when I was younger. I've heard good things, but I'm worried about catching on dry patches, and the color selection (when I looked in store even "Ivory" looked pretty dark). You look beautiful in the video BTW! πŸ˜€

love the look you did here, doll. New subscriber but I've been binge watching a bunch of your older videos. Loving your channel so far! Keep up the awesome job you're doing. You are literally one of the only beauty channels I can binge watch outside of KathleenLights and Melissa Autry. I can't tolerate beauty gurus and their "I'm so hot, buy morphe, don't you wish you were me" type attitude. You appear very genuine and I like that kudos to you, you have a new fan here.
