Have you heard of the website findation.com? It's a database of foundation colours, you list any colours that match you and it suggests others that might also work for you.

The new Hourglass Vanishing Stick I would suggest getting the next colour up Alabaster because the Blanc is really pale, too pale for me and the Too Faced Born This Way in Snow in too dark for me I need to mix in a few drops of my N10 from Cover FX.

I use 005 (it doesn't have a colour name) & it's very pale. a little too pinky for me so I mix it with Maybelline Matte & Poreless in 110 Porcelain. Perfecto!

My skin leans dry and I really loved this foundation. It worked fine as long as I took care of my skin properly and used good moisturizer and primer. Using something like Fix+ on top helps too. When I bought my bottle of 110C they hadn't come out with 090 yet. Eventually I realized it was too dark, and 090 is too pink for me. I guess I need 100N! It's great the 090 was such a match for you!

This is my HOLY GRAIL foundation. I have been using this for just over a year, and I will never switch to anything else. I saw you commented about having dry skin issues with this foundation. I have found that if you use Aveeno Baby Eczema Cream (strange, I know) on your face as a moisturizer/primer, this stays wonderfully and does not stick to any dry patches. It is the similar alternative to the Nivea Men's Post Shave Balm. It really smooths skin and the glycerin in the cream makes the foundation last ALL day. Hope this helps 🙂 Loved your video!

Hello! Do you think you could do a first impression of the new hourglass vanish foundation? They've apparently come out with uber pale shades so would be interested to see if they are pale enough for us. Sooo good to find a YouTuber with the same skin tone as me! X

Wondering how this foundation would work with a dab of Mac strobe cream mixed in to counter the drying. I've done that a lot to sheer out heavy matte foundations.

Great video. The lightest shade in this foundation available in the UK is 005 beige ivoire….the shades here are waaaaaay too dark disappointing.

Watch out for other number references for this foundation. Here in Luxembourg the reference 090 ivory doesn't exist either, here it is referenced with 0.5 , 1.0, etc. 🙂

Thank you so much for zooming in and forgoing the filters. It makes your review more helpful than a half dozen others put together.
Also, do you all have 100 Ivoire (N)? I think it used to be just 90 to 110 to 140. I can't find swatches of it and I'm trying to decide between that and 90. (I don't have a Sephora nearby; I order everything online unfortunately,) Thanks again!

I just came across your channel and I am so excited! I am getting married in December and am very fair skin tone as well. I plan on doing my own makeup, and am going for a look like you have in here!!! I know you said probably stay away from this foundation because of the flashback, but you are just glowing!!! Love the blush/bronzer/highlighter combination!!!

Thanks so much for mentioning the other foundations that are matches for you! I just discovered this foundation yesterday and 90 was a great match for my skin (also found out through color ID that I'm also neutral, leaning toward red. Already suspected that, but glad to have it confirmed). This is the first foundation where I've found a pale enough shade that doesn't lean too heavily toward cool or warm, so the fact that you listed out 5+ other options that I could try in the future is super exciting!

Also, after reading the description: YAY a fellow musician! I'm a violist (only a B.A. though– planning on being a music librarian, not a performer) and Satie is one of my faves. Looooove the gymnopedies.

I live in Australia too and finding foundation thats actually light enough without guessing online is so hard! I really want to buy this one, do you think it'd be right for me? I'm an nw10 and my perfect foundation shade is Kat von d lock it foundation in light 42, I'm a neutral undertone, and I tried ( in Australia ) 005 Teint Idole Ultra and it was wayyyy to dark for me! So I'm hoping this one would be right, thankyou sosososo much

Lancôme has shade 090, 100, 110 and 140 in the Teinte Miracle foundation as well. It's not as full coverage, but the finish is beautiful😀Reminds me of Chanel Lumiere:) Much better for normal to dry skin.

I've noticed recently that a lot of foundations with super pale shades that match me are all matte and tend to dry me out 😕 (or make my skin look super cakey) I tried this same one and LOVED the shade but it seem to sit right on my skin😢Hoping they start making the palest shades in more hydrating formats 😁

Hi Arna! I'm relatively new to your channel so I've been watching your videos backwards (Aug/Sept 2017 to earlier vids). From what I've heard, you're going to really enjoy Fenty Beauty Foundation in 101 (probably because it oxidizes at least one shade). It looks like it would be a beautiful foundation for your already beautiful skin. I think you can already get this in Australia. I hope you do a review of this and compare it with your list of favorites. (Hope you're feeling better!) Sending you a virtual hug!

Such a helpful review thank you so much! I seem to have a similar skin type to you but with more dryness (yet I still get oily during the day), do you know of any foundations that won't accentuate dryness yet have oil control/longevity? Sorry that's so tricky but just in case you have any suggestions. Also it's so great to find a vlogger as pale as me! Have a great day xx
