I knew the color match was gonna get you. LOL I'd say try not putting it on your undereye at all and another primer or more emollient face cream. If all fails, then you have a good nose foundation. LOL Really though I have probs getting foundation to cover & sit smoothly on my nose so I'm thinking I might like it just for my nose.

I say keep it and play around with other products! Maybe a heavier moisturizer and setting spray? It did look good at first! Love your videos Shell!

Most reviews that I have seen of this foundation hasn't been good, and I think what gets for me I am a combo to dry. So I would worry for the part of it getting in fine lines, is a deal breaker for me. Have a good weekend love and blessings xoxo <3

I would be curious how you felt if you tried it for a few more days. I had similar feelings as you after the first day trying Milk, and by day three my face was so dry and flakey I had to return it. On a happier note, you inspired me to try the TF Peach foundation (I thought my dry skin would make it impossible, but it looked great on you), and I am loving it!

I do have a foundation suggestion, and it is one I never hear people talk about. Before I went cruelty free my favorite was the CoverGirl SimplyAgeless Foundation, not the pump bottle one, but the one in the hockey puck looking packaging (don't know how else to describe it). I used a beauty blender to apply it, not the applicator. It was moisturizing, yet had a satin finish, lasted all day, never settled into pores, tends to skew cool toned. I loved it. And the corresponding primer is the bomb too. I wish CG would go cruelty free. 🙁

It looks very dry when you come in close. Color is really good. What about a drop of oil in the foundation (I think you said it is a water base), but that might help the dryness.

Wow Shelly, up close this foundation aged you but from a distance you looked fabulous, youthful even. I was excited to try this foundation but I haven't heard good things about it. Maybe try it with a dewy setting spray.  Keep us updated on what other products you've tried and if it worked if at all. Thanks! Awesome review as always.

Oh no.. so close. This reminds me of my experience with Nars All Day Luminious. Color and application were perfect, but it settled, broke apart, and transferred mercilessly.

Glad you reviewed this. I wanted it SO bad but now I see it would never work for me, so thank you for helping me save some money. I got the newest ysl matte foundation because I thought it would work and this is almost spot on how that worked for me and at the end of the day I returned it. 😓

That shade match is incredible! I have confidence that you'll find a way to make this foundation work for you! 😀 Love the eyeshadow btw, matches your shirt perfectly! 🙂

That Stila eye glitter: why do I not own one of those yet?? I want a foundation to work and I don't want to have to mix it or use a variety of other products to make it work… they are getting so expensive! I am really liking the new Laura Mercier Flawless fusion but the shade range is terrible. I also don't think I fit Sephora's scale – unless they have a magic "olive" range, lol.

You’re such a beautiful woman Shelly. Love your channel.
What about adding a few drops of the Physicians Formula Booster Oil (white & floral bottle with a stopper that you’ve loved before /sorry- not sure what the exact name is) to this prior to application?
Adding a little moisture may stop it from settling into fine lines? The color match is just tooooo good to discard. Let us know how you’re able to get it to work. I have complete faith that you will!!
    Have an awesome weekend. ❤️🤗🌼

Hmmmmm … maybe try it with your favorite primer instead? Also, I love that you “talked” on the phone for the smudge test lol. Nice.

Actually, I’ve read you can wear silicone primer with any kind of foundation. You just can’t mix oil-based products with water-based products because your makeup will slide off.

Love all your videos..I also have dry skin and look for the same things in a foundation as you. I'm going to try this foundation. maybe mix it with oil or put lots of moisturizer on. Would you try the new huda beauty foundation? I'm curious about that one.

I really appreciate this review! I was considering picking this up (and I have the same skin type/age as your fine self). I will definitely pick up something else. Do you have an opinion on the Hourglass Hyaluronic skin Tint?

Thank you so much for the review! This was on my list of wants but my dry skin is definitely maturing and I can't emotionally handle settling in lines I don't even see everyday!! 😂 I may be exaggerating just a tad but settling in lines really is a deal breaker . The pore blurring sounds good though!
