Great video! So glad I found this! I think technique is most important. Most channels are concentrating on the product, with the idea that the "right" one will be the answer, when I think (hope) that even less expensive products used the correct way can make a big difference.

The brows ARE wrong, I think they should be plucked a little more in the centre as they are too close together. And the outside edge goes down too much IMO. It drags the eye down at the side. Caramel streaks in her hair would soften the ash tones and chin length would flatter Margarets face shape a lot more. Some videos show her with a fringe and it suits her, though I would suggest a softer layered look anyway as her hair is just like mine, very thin, fine and soft. She is very pretty and has a lovely smile. Could be amazing!

learned quite a bit, thanks! Would like to comment that there really was too much chatter. Model could have had hair pulled off face and camera could have been a bit closer for full shot. Was hard to see technique, type brushes and type make up. Was a much needed video, hopefully the next one will be better. Good luck!

Never, never pull the skin down. I was not going to say a thing but I could not help myself.
When removing makeup please don't use a dry tissue. Around the eyes be ever so careful that skin is like an onion skin we need to protect all of the elastin we can. What ever you use to apply or remove please go up up and away. NEVER bring your skin down. Thanks

May I make a comment concerning lipstick?
Some women have hair above and on their upper lip, I am one of them.
To get a clean defined crisp look on my lipstick, facial hair removal first. There are other options such as professional facial hair removal. Using a cream, MESSY it is. I did that until I learned of the wax strips. I use NAIR ready-wax strips, easy and fast. This not a commercial for Nair there are other waxes out there. Follow directions do lift the hair in the opposite direction of the hair growth.
I may use a little facial oil (argon oil) to smooth and soften the skin, not much oil, I lightly powder the upper lip, outline my lips with a lip pencil, the way Margarete taught us then apply lipstick, blot, apply a dusting of powder again then lipstick again. This should last several hours even after eating. If you apply a gloss lipstick will not last as long.
The key here is removal 0f the down, fuzz, hair above the upper lip.
    Happy days to you,
    Carole

I love the video but the makeup artist is a bit to rough on the skin. Pulling and tugging on the thin skin around the eyes is bad! Maybe things were rushed a bit for the video but ladies please be very gentle around your eyes. You're lovely Margaret

Yes , I agree the model talk too much that i cannot hear what the make up artist is trying to explain. I understand the make up artist is her guest but please let her finish what she's trying to say.

I like the left side better, her dark circles are showing on the lighter side and looks like she has too much makeup on. Her eye brows don't look any different from left to right.

Wow! Margaret I loved this session and you look radiant. I am looking forward to tomorrow morning when I will make a few tweeks to my routine. I really like the look and the way that Ariane applied everything. BTW, I bought some Wunderbrow after I heard you mention it once and really like it! I will probably go back and watch this again at some point. Thanks!

I have never worn foundation let alone β€œprimer” which is used under paint when you paint a room/house. I hate any foundation. It always looks so obvious no matter what kind someone wears and it gets all over the collar of any blouse/sweater.

It looks good! List of products and colors would be appreciated. I wish she could do my makeup. I am having trouble with colors not that my hair is silvery and I am 69. Wasting money on products that do not work for me. Also my clothing colors are not working any more. Spending time to figure it out. Thank you very much.
