I have a combo skin ( oily T-zone but dry and flaky on the rest of my face). I hated this product. All my patchy areas were so visible and it didn't control the oiliness on my face. I much prefe Nars Sheer Glow, it is a bit too dewy for my combo skin but it sits just better on the skin

I had the EXACT same issues! And I have normal skin mostly. Like you said, it looked like I needed to exfoliate and I was like "hum… EXCUSE ME?!". My nose area was "NO MA'AM"! ❤️❤️❤️

As usual love your tutorials! Anyway I have oily combo skin at times more oily than combo but I do love this product. I do get what you mean about it being patchy but then again I get that using other products. What can I do to change that?

Not trying to self-promote because I hate those comments, BUT I have combo-oily skin and I am in LOVE with this foundation for my skin type. I tried it over the course of 3 days and showed how it wore without a primer, with a primer and set with powder so everyone can see how the foundation wore each way. If anyone is interested or might find that information useful, it's up on my channel. No pressure.

Been watching your videos for a while, and I'm always a fan of your first impressions! I love how informative they are. I always learn something new even though we don't have the same skin type. Love it. Keep up the amazing content! Would you do a first impression on the new Born This Way concealers when they launch? (:

I have combination skin and with a primer underneath and powder to set, this foundation lasts all day on me. It doesn't look cakey at all. This is my current favourite foundation.

I have sensitive oily skin and I love it! I still have to set it with a little powder. Less is more. Its definitely one of the best skin tints I have used.

Hi Karima! I would love to know how the Armani Maestro Glow foundation compares to the Dior Nude Air Serum Foundation and which you prefer? I am in the market for a lightweight, skin like, glowy foundation for dry skin and I am specifically intereseted in these two and would love your opinion 🙂 have a fab day!! xxx

Im dry skinned too and none of the Nars foundations work all that well for me. The creamy compact and the tinted moisturizer are the nicest on my skin but not HG

I have sampled this foundation also in the shade Alaska. Perfect match for me. I absolutely love the look of this foundation. It is so confortable. Looks great, just the right amount of coverage etc. My only issue with it is my oily t zone area, it usually breaks down by the end of the day…. I do not blot however, don't think I should have to when I think this product is meant for my skin type and at $65 or so…. Always a con! Trying the Lancome Teint Idole atm…Unfortuantely the shade 035 is a smidge too dark for me…
Thanks for the review Karima, so articulate as usual. Love it. Also love that we are very similar colour match:)

So this foundation has more of a yellow undertone you would say? And is it too light light almost pale or in between the middle of light and dark? 🙂

Ahh! Really appreciate your thoughts in this review.. I came here after watching your Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation review (which was also helpful! – have you tried her "light wonder" foundation? I find that one to be very nice – although quite dewy so I am careful about my choice of primer!). I'm about to go to the States and am going to hit sephora and this was on my list of foundations to check out so am thinking it may not be the best with my somewhat dry skin. Thanks for your helpful review! 🙂

I tried a few tinted moisturizers bb cc creams and most looked "makeup'y" to me too which is strange in comparison to regular foundations. I just don't think the formulations work well. Basically an SPF moisturizer and a good foundation separately is probably better.

Karima! So late to the party on this product… does your smell alcohol-y? I got mine from Europe and every time I use I get a strong whiff of alcohol. Totally not using it because of this! Do you think I've just purchased a bad one? 😐😟

Do you recommend for a NC20 the Alaska light 2 or Finland light 1? I feel the Alaska light 2 is a little too light but I'm not sure. And I have definately a yellow undertone 🙂

I keep seeing people review this and it looks a lot lighter on other people than it does on me. I have this, and my skin is quite yellow, but it is very, very yellow, and almost looks orange.

I've tried this foundation and I have the driest of dry skin. I found that using jojoba oil before application allowed it to lay on my dry skin beautifully! I also like using the Smashbox photo finish primer as a great base for this product. I can get it to work well on my problematic skin!! 😉❤💋✌
